MagicQ & Magic 3D Easy View or 3D Virtual Simulator

Hi,

If you have already got a Sunlite or Daslight interface that has DMX IN then you can use it with MagicQ.
If not then the Sunlite or Daslight visualiser software and IN interfaces are a lot cheaper than others around.

What I have used.
Enttec Pro as my DMX OUT interface. Could use any DMX OUT interface that is supported by MagicQ, including the consoles that have DMX out interfaces.
Sunlite SL2048FC as my DMX IN interface. You can use any Sunlite interface that has DMX IN.

Connect Enttec Pro OUT to Sunlite SL2048FC IN with a DMX cable.
Start MagicQ PC
Start Sunlite Magic 3D Easy View.
Patch same fixtures to same Universe/Address as in MagicQ.

Now you should be able to visualise your shows.

I have not tried using ArtNet, the Sunlite interface supports ArtNet. I do not have any ArtNet interfaces.

Also works with a Daslight DVC2 Gold interface in place of the Sunlite interface and using the Daslight Virtual 3D Simulator program. So I will assume it will work with any of the Daslight interfaces that have DMX IN.
